FAQ

Payments and Subscriptions

  • What payment options are available?

Currently, payments are only available through the Android application via Google Play and international bank cards.

  • What types of subscriptions do you offer?

We offer two types of subscriptions in the mobile app (weekly and monthly). Each subscription includes a specific amount of gaming hours.

  • How does the hours system work?

The hours included in your subscription can be used on both mobile and PC applications. Once you've used up your subscription hours, you can purchase additional hours. Unused hours will be lost when the subscription expires.

  • Can I use my mobile subscription on PC?

Yes, time purchased in the mobile app automatically syncs with the PC application. You'll be able to view and use your hour balance on both platforms.

  • Why can't I pay directly in the PC application?

Currently, payment methods in the PC application are not available. We recommend making all purchases through the Android app.

About Us

  • What do we do?

Our service provides users with powerful virtual computers for gaming and other non-commercial activities.

  • What makes our project unique?

Unlike most cloud gaming services, we provide a complete virtual computer with access to the desktop, file system, and Internet browsers. This gives users the ability to independently install any game and application to work with.

  • What games are available to users?

You can install any game on your virtual computer independently, or run one of the pre-installed ones on the server.

  • What are the technical specifications of the virtual computer?

    • GPU NVIDIA RTX A4000 16 GB
    • CPU 2 x Intel Xeon 12 cores
    • RAM 128 GB
    • Local Storage 2 TB
    • Game Library 10 TB NVMe
    • 1 Gbit Internet connection

Virtual Computer Management

  • How do I start a virtual gaming computer?

Connection to the virtual PC will occur after pressing the "Start PC" button on the launcher's main screen. It will be active when there are minutes in your balance.

  • How do I install and run a specific game?

Game installation is done just like on a regular computer, as we provide a virtual PC with Windows OS. Browser, game launchers, torrent client, and other useful utilities are pre-installed, which you can use to download applications. Note that some games are already pre-installed - their shortcuts are usually found on the virtual PC's desktop. Pre-installed games are stored on an additional connected disk, which is approximately 1 TB in volume. It is restored to its original state each time the session ends. We ask that you place necessary files only on the main drive (C:), as they won't be saved on other drives.

  • What games are pre-installed on the servers?

On the launcher's main screen, at the bottom there are cards - these are all currently pre-installed games. Each list item contains an image, the game name, and the game launcher from which it's pre-installed. On some, you may also see different tags: "Free" means the game is distributed free of charge by the developers.

  • Can games be installed without purchasing them from online stores?

Loudplay provides users with full access to a virtual computer that is connected to the Internet with speeds up to 1 Gbps. This allows downloading applications from any source, including torrent clients. However, we remind you that when installing such software, the user is solely responsible for copyright violations. In case of a complaint from the rights holder, access to the account will be restricted.

Technical Questions and Troubleshooting

  • On which devices can Loudplay be used?

Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11, MacOS version 10.15 and higher, as well as Android version 7 and higher are supported. Running on Linux is possible through Wine, however, there is no official support yet. If you are a Windows OS user, your PC must also have updated drivers and the latest versions of DirectX, Microsoft Visual C++, and Microsoft.Net Framework installed.

  • How long is data stored on the virtual PC?

The virtual PC is stored for 24 hours from the last connection. To increase data reliability and security, we have switched to a new storage system. To avoid worrying about the storage period, you can purchase the "PC Storage" subscription in the left menu of the PC launcher, in the "Profile" section. During its validity, the PC won't be deleted due to storage time expiration.

  • Is it mandatory to purchase a license to run a pre-installed game from the launcher?

Yes, to run a pre-installed game, it must be purchased on your account. We do not provide our accounts or share access to games.

  • What internet speed will be sufficient?

Internet with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps is required. 30 Mbps or higher is recommended, as well as a wired connection, as it is the most stable. It's possible to play via WiFi or 4G, but such connection is less stable and may result in fragmented image and control delays.

  • What should I do if the game lags/there's delay?

Normally, video stream delays appear due to packet loss from the virtual PC to yours. Close all applications on your PC and reduce the bitrate and FPS values in the launcher settings. In some cases, enabling hardware acceleration helps (not compatible with all PCs, and sometimes image transmission may worsen: then it should be turned off). Restarting your computer and router can help, as well as connecting directly via cable (not through the router). Make sure you have updated drivers and the latest versions of Microsoft distributable packages (DirectX, C++, and Net Framework) installed. If you cannot resolve the issues on your own, contact technical support.

  • The virtual computer window won't open, what should I do?

Several points need to be highlighted here: it could be a settings issue (verify that hardware acceleration is disabled and that protocol and encoding are at their default values), or driver-related (try updating them), or Microsoft distributable packages (however, the launcher itself will indicate this and provide download links), or after installing some pirated software on the virtual PC (getting a new virtual machine will help). If you cannot resolve the issue on your own, contact technical support.

  • Are there keyboard shortcuts in the streaming window?

Yes, Alt+1 will show all keyboard shortcuts for the streaming module. One of the most used is Alt+R, which activates the microphone.

  • Why won't the game's anti-cheat let me play/blocks control?

Unfortunately, some anti-cheat systems recognize the virtual computer's control system as cheating. Also, sometimes developers intentionally limit cloud gaming. If you encounter such a problem, contact technical support.

  • How do I contact technical support?

In the launcher's left menu, there's a button with a headphones icon. Click it to open the chat window. Additionally, you can contact us on social media. We ask that you describe the issue that arose politely and in detail and indicate your username - this will make it easier for us to help you. We are ready to advise you on any questions related to the service's operation.

About Service Usage

  • Why is time charged during game installation and updates?

Loudplay provides users with a complete virtual computer to which only its owner has access. We respect our clients' private space and do not control the computer usage process or files installed on it. Our users pay exclusively for server rental, not for specific actions on it. However, in case of technical problems on our end, we are willing to offer compensation for time spent updating or reinstalling the game.

  • Is there any way to use the service for free?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide the service for free at this time.
